The Gruchy Boys - Education Room

The Brothers Gruchy, Tim and Mic grew up in Bundaberg through the sixties and seventies. As an inspiration to local youth a series of digital playgrounds were made based on some of the things that were inspirational to the brothers, video effects, video feedback and mathmatical visualisation. Six laptops each contain the three custom programmed zones which use mice and webcams for participants to interact and explore. A dual pictorial timeline on the walls juxtaposes the brothers growth with the camera technologies they were using at the time.
